WHAT THIS CAN LOOK LIKE

A wedding ceremony that feels like the beginning of your day.

Your ceremony can be relaxed and personal while still feeling like an important part of the celebration. The size, setting and style can all be shaped around you.

01

Surrounded by your people

A ceremony with family and friends around you, whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a larger wedding celebration.

02

Personal without being performative

Your story, your humour and the things that matter to you can shape the ceremony without it feeling scripted, overdone or like someone else's wedding.

03

In a place that suits you

From coastal venues and gardens to golf clubs, restaurants, private homes and other meaningful spaces, the ceremony can work with the setting rather than compete with it.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

A wedding ceremony that's personal from the planning through to the day.

Your ceremony isn't something you simply turn up to. Eliza works with you beforehand to understand your story, shape the ceremony and make sure everything is ready for the moment you say your vows.

MAKE IT YOURS

More than a ceremony. A moment that's completely yours.

Your wedding ceremony doesn't need to follow a formula. I'll help you work out what matters, bring your story into the ceremony and guide you through everything from our first conversation to the moment you say your vows.

01

What does a wedding celebrant actually do?

A wedding celebrant does much more than conduct the ceremony on the day. I'll guide you through the legal requirements, help you shape the ceremony, get to know your story and write something that feels personal to you. On the day, I'll lead the ceremony, take care of the legalities and help everything feel calm, natural and meaningful.

02

How personal can our ceremony be?

Your ceremony can be as personal as you'd like it to be. Rather than starting with a standard script, I'll write your ceremony around your relationship, your story and the things that matter to you. That might include your own vows, stories, readings, music, family or friends, or other details that feel meaningful.

03

How do you get to know us and our story?

We spend time talking about you, your relationship and the life you've built together. I'll ask questions about how you met, what you love about each other, the moments that have shaped your relationship and what you want your ceremony to feel like. Those conversations give me the detail and personality I need to write something that genuinely sounds like you.

04

What can we include in our ceremony?

There are plenty of ways to make your ceremony your own. You might include personal stories, readings, music, your own vows, family or friends, cultural or symbolic rituals, or a particular moment that has meaning to you. We'll choose what fits your relationship rather than adding things simply because they're expected.

05

What happens before the wedding?

We'll spend time getting to know each other, talk through the kind of ceremony you want and work together on the details. I'll guide you through the legal requirements and paperwork, help with vows, readings and other ceremony elements, and write your personalised ceremony so you know what to expect before the day arrives.

06

What happens on the wedding day?

I'll arrive prepared and guide you through the ceremony from beginning to end. I'll take care of the required legal wording, introduce the different parts of the ceremony, guide you through your vows and any readings or rituals you've chosen, and make sure the legal documents are completed with your witnesses. Your job is simply to be present and enjoy the moment.

07

How much do we need to organise ourselves?

You don't need to know how to create a wedding ceremony before you get started. I'll guide you through the decisions that matter, give you ideas where they're helpful and explain what needs to happen along the way. You can be as involved as you like, while I take care of the structure, wording and legal requirements.

08

What if we don't know exactly what we want yet?

That's completely fine. Most couples don't arrive knowing exactly what they want their ceremony to look or sound like. We can start with a conversation about you, your relationship and what matters to you, then work out the rest together. I'll help you make decisions without making the ceremony feel like a checklist.

You don't need to have your ceremony planned before you get in touch. If you'd like to talk through what you're imagining, I'd love to hear about you and your plans.
